I am so sensitive

I am so sensitive to smells lately. For the last few weeks I have no been feeling well and smells have been bothering the heck out of me. Eric opened a can of Salmon and I had to sit outside because I could not stand the smell and his friend also opened a can of sardines...yum. NOT. Today I decided that I should probably do the dishes, because I have not been feeling well I kind of forgot to them for about a week. Well Eric, is the king of throw everything in the freaking sink and also the king of NEVER RINSING OFF THE DISHES! Week old gravy does not smell all that great (I actually vomited) and I found a bag that was from his work that was the drainage from something he took home and it was extremely gnarly. And now that the sink is cleared and I rinsed everything and vomiting once I now have to eat something that I so do not want (Cup of noodles...I hate cup of noodles, I like top ramen better) but I am running out of options because getting to the store is a pain and I cannot spend any money because of my recent job loss. I am not having a good evening.

Could you be pregnant? I'm never sensitive to smell until the day I became pregnant.

@toniganzon I'll probably get a test at some point. I have been thinking something is really off but I have no idea. My body is so weird.

I actually do not have a clear answer for that. I am not sure completely. It could just be my hormones trying to mess with me or whatever. I don't know.

I like an occasion Top Ramen too. I just don't care for all the salt. Tuna and eggs is good too. Very economical.

I would not do well with cotton smells or residue from old dishes that haven't been washed, too. I hope you feel better.

Meat smells are what are really killing me or just anything pungent. I am normally really good with ignoring smells but lately. Ugh everything nauseates me.

I hate smells that I cannot stand. Especially when I am sick. I know the feeling. I always tell my son to dump things in the garbage and rinse the dishes. But like all teenagers, it all stays laying around. Not cool.

I think men are just like that in general. They just never like to pick up after themselves until they feel guilty about it.

@DesirousDreamer I hear you on that. Look, I was a messy teen myself years ago. I think that is just part of being young. We do grow out of that, unless we turn into Oscar Madison from the Odd Couple. LOL.

@inertia4 Ehhhhhh most men do not grow out of it XD I was never "messy" I was just always too depressed or in pain to do anything and stuff piled up.

When I am sick I have a sensitive stomach as well to smells. After my pregnancies I have stayed where smells nauseate me easily. I never was like that before I had children. Are you pregnant by any chance?

I am getting a test tomorrow to make sure. I haven't been able to since transportation is basically nil here.

So sorry to hear that. I hate to ask this but you can't be pregnant can you? Your symptoms sound like early pregnancy.

I am going to get a test tomorrow. I have no idea if it is that or it is my just my hormones going crazy since I have hypothyroidism. I know all the signs of pregnancy so it is plausible which is why I am going to get a test tomorrow.

My mom can be lazy most of the time, putting the dish in the sink and just leave it there for the ants to swarm. thats why I keep visiting the kitchen often.

I am so glad it is too cold most of the time for ants. But ugh the smell is terrible.
