I got my last order in from Lids. Was all excited about getting a 50 pack of assorted Boston Bruins cards in. Ripped open the package and to my surprise there was a 2015 Topps Ted Williams card looking at me.
Now my Bruins and well hockey knowledge but I know Ted Williams was a Red Sox.
As you can guess I wound up with a 50 pack assorted Boston Red Sox cards. Not mad because I was going to buy them at another point in time.
Talked with Lids’ customer service and just wanted to know what the process was to fix this little mistake if it happened again. I was offered a refund or they would ship a return package and then resend the right cards when they got the wrong ones back. Now the offer was for the current order. I had to explain again I was fine with the mistake because I was going to order the Red Sox cards and just wanted to know how to fix it if the same mistake happened again. Finally CS understood what I was saying.
Got a few players I know of and a lot more that I don’t know. I did get what looks to be a Mo Vaughn rookie card. I say looks to be a rookie card because there are no stats on the back and talks about playing for Boston’s AA and AAA teams. I need to look it up to see if it is a rookie card or not tho.
If you collect sports cards do you have any rarer cards?

When I was a kid, I had an Al Kaline card worth $500. Didn't know what I had, and drew devil horns and a mustache on him.

@teamfreak16 when did you find out the card was worth $500? Not sure what would be worse finding out as a kid or as an adult. I don't think I had any rare or high value cards when I was a kid. I know I had an Iván Rodríguez rookie card and I want to say one of Nolan Ryans first Astro's card or Ranger's cards.

No, I don't collect sports cards.
I remember my classmates collecting and showing off their cards in school.
