My cat interrupted my sleep during the night. She's angry with me because she wants more treats than I am giving to her. So she woke me up around 4am throwing things off my dressers. I got up, used the restroom, picked up my things and went back to bed. I just ignored her. The alarm went off at 8am and I got up, got dressed and got ready for an appointment. Before my cat could object, I was out the door. Came home to vomit around the apartment. She's really angry with me! But her bowl still has her dry food and no treats. And it will stay that way until she eats. Two can play this game (although only one of us can clean up the mess). Meanwhile, I'm finishing a book and about to start a very large book called "A Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness. No clue what it's about but my librarian thought I might like it, so I figured I can start it and see how it goes, so if I need to renew it when the new books are ready to come in, that will be easy. Has anyone else ever read this one? It's raining today and it's supposed to rain the rest of the week, which is fine by me. We need the rain very badly. Other people in the building are complaining, but I've learned that some people just need something to complain about every day. I just smile and nod. Nothing much to say there.
