No Tomatoes From The Garden This Year

This Spring I did not plant anything for vegetables, not even tomatoes. I wasn't feeling that great at that time. So we will not be able to eat fresh cherry tomatoes this year. The photo here is from before.
It has been such a hot summer that I am glad that I did not do the garden, lots of neighbors have them and they are having a hard time keeping up with all the watering and extra care.
Did you plant a vegetable garden this year? And how is it coming along?

@marlina Tomatoes don't need a lot of water, but they need consistent watering.

I always have a small garden or a plant to tend to, because it is not a problem in our country because we have lots of sunshine all throughout the year.

No garden now, but used to plant both summer and winter vegetables when I had one.
Those tomatoes look really good.

@marlina yes, you did mention that they were a previous years harvest.
Its so nice to just pick vegetables and cook from the garden.

I am not very good at gardening-everything I touch kind of seems to die...

We don't plant a garden, but we seem to reap the benefits of everyone else's, lol. Just today one of our neighbors brought over some more cherry tomatoes, and I don't think we'd eaten up the last bunch she brought. They're really delicious. Going to use some in the salad for dinner tonight.
Gardens are some work here because it's red clay soil. Hard. But it's nice that some people are up to it and share with us.

Fortunately we have someone else who has a wonderful supply of tomatoes, so we did not have to grow these. Everything else is just fine.

I don't plant a garden but my neighbor across the street does and she is always happy to share her tomatoes with me. This year she said her garden didn't thrive so I guess I won't be getting any fresh tomatoes from her.

I planted some veggies this year but nothing grew. We believe the seeds we got were bad because we tried a new seller out this year and it just didn't work for us. I am upset about this because I wanted to freeze some of them and take them to school with me but that didn't happen.

I am starting to think about planting. I already planted kale and some arugule seeds. But it is winter yet.
