Just Another Sidetracked Day

I've been all over the place today.
I woke up to go do a repo lot office inspection at 9 am this morning after very little sleep once again.
Once home I planned to just put up my WIP Wednesday blog post and then go back to bed for a bit. I jumped all over the place online before finally getting to the blog post. I did get it done and shared.
I ended up laying back down for over an hour. I did feel refreshed after a bit more sleep. Here's hoping that I can sleep tonight.
I sold a table runner from mu etsy shop that I need to get in and find. I think I will take my craft totes out of the closet and put my daughters stuff IN the closet. At least that way my stuff is easier to get to and find.
Yesterday when throwing out some trash at church I seen some Rose Moss in the trash. I pulled it out and have planted it in a planter on the front porch. I hope it grows as my praternal grandmother always had it growing and I love how it has so many different colored flowers.
I have my strips cut and ready to start the string quilt blocks. I'm waiting a bit right now before getting out the sewing machine as my daughter is babysitting a 5 yr old and 6 yr old today and they are running.
Speaking of quilts, here is the picture of that crazy colored quilt (that I still don't know the pattern name of) that I added 2 more rows to at the quilt retreat. It's also in my blog post for the week too.
I found myself not feeling too well in the stomach yesterday. That is better today, but I still am not "right". You know how it is, no time to not feel good.
I guess I will run along. I still want to visit more posts and such before heading on to other things.

I have 5 more rows to make for the quilt I believe. Debating on if I am taking it to sit n' sew tomorrow or if I will really take the one I am working on that I have designated my sit n' sew project.
So many of us only work on a certain thing there every month until it's done, and like me, don't work on that project any other time.

My stomach has been a little crappier than normal lately too, but I've taken tums which seems to help a lot.
I thought your quilt almost looked a bit like a different pattern of a log cabin, although the pieces may not be quite the same. I don't always get things done in the order of my plan either. At least you accomplished quite a bit.

@MarshaMusselman ugh....I had a colonoscopy recently too so know what you mean there.
They did remove a polyp and strangely, now I can eat things without pain that used to pain me terribly after eating. Now I wonder if those foods were getting hung up on the polyp?

@marsha32 A month or so ago I ate too much regular watermelon and the only problem I had was that I was up every half hour getting rid of the extra fluid. Odd thing was, I was up more often that time than I was when preparing for the colonoscopy last week. I thought I wouldn't get much sleep, but was pleasantly surprised.

I've been itching to get it out and finish the rows......oh, so many projects started but really trying to finish 2 right now before moving on to something else. Will that matter though? Nope, I'm enjoying this rug I am working on and itching to start on another one when this one is finished.

This is certainly eye catching. I do not blame you on keeping the machine put away for now. The heat makes me not feel well.

Now I can't get it out until after the birthday party. Time is going way too fast for me today.

I'm always busy. To not be busy by what others want or need me to do I will need to go away.

I love this ! It has varied colors and shapes! As of the moment, it's my favorite among those quilts you posted.
