Just a few days ago,I received a Facebook request from this stranger lady but I just confirmed the request since I do not dwell so much on anybody's Facebook updates or personality. But I was alarmed the minute that she posted nude photos and porn-like materials on my Facebook timeline. It was shameless on her to post such things on my timeline so I had no otherwise but to immediately unfriend her.

They are right. She is probably wanting to have an online date with you or something. I guess next time, it is better to be careful on who you approve. If the name of the person does not ring a bell to me, I don't approve the request. There is just a lot of online scams happening these days so better to be on guard.

@waflay or other times, what I do is drop a message and see what the intentions are in case the name seems familiar to you but you just can't remember. hope it will not happen again in the future. I think there is a way that you can report such account to Facebook management. Better if you report so that she will not have the opportunity to look for another victim in Facebook.

i hope you reported her to FB. They are not happy when spammers get on their site. I never accept connections unless I know who they are and actually like them.

I don't mind having friends in the virtual world but after this experience ,I would rather filter the requests and even do something on my timeline settings.

I think it's best not to accept friendship requests from anyone you don't know. Just report it to fb because that is against their rules.

I do not mind connecting to strangers because I have wonderful friends that I have come to know through Facebook and we always have a great time in the virtual world.

That's disgusting. I've never had to deal with such issues since most of my FB contacts are people whom I personally know (family & friends). You did the right thing.

From this nasty experience,I have resolved to examine more closely their profiles before accepting their friendship requests because it helps know them better depending on what updates they post.

Oh wow!, I am very cautious at who I add as a friend on FB. I will look at there profile first and if there isnt hardly anything on them or they don't have any mutual friends I want add them.
