How many out there continue to study subjects even if you are not a student? Does anyone just take courses that are of interest that do not lead to a certificate or particular degree? I have decided to start writing again on various sites with what I am studying just to keep my mind sharp. It has been a very busy month with watching kids and trying to write my book. I did not make too much progress on the book for there were too many distractions with kids and a swimming pool. Back to school is on Monday the 15th of August and then I can concentrate on writing.
I will also be creating and teaching an online Shorthand course starting on Monday as well.

Yeah, I do. I took a few online writing courses in the past. I plan to take a course on mobile app development someday. It's great to be able to learn new things, plus there are tons of free online courses these days.

There are sites like Udemy, Alison and right now I cannot think of any others that offer online courses unless you become a student and apply to SNHU or Capella University. Hope you find a course developing mobile apps could be interesting and fun.

You are so right and we should all learn from each other.
