Wrong Decisions in Life

There are times when I contemplate and felt bad for taking some decisions hastily then regret it later.
So many " what if's, so many "should I, or should I not" come to mind. Then when I am tired thinking about it, I just rest my case and let it be. Just charge everything to experience; lessons learned.
Do you have some decisions in life that you regret later?

I have 5 million of them. I'll post them someday---it may take a few years, though

I think everyone has decisions they regret but I believe everything is as it should be. Changing one decision would affect so many other things that it makes you rethink change.

We just always think what is best; get lessons from past experiences.

The only thing that I regret in life is to sacrifice myself for those who have ungrateful hearts ..

@acelawrites it's really unfair isn't it when we show people generosity and then they turn around betraying us ..

I feel that too, there were people whom we devoted much time and effort; helped them with their lives but they just forget about it.

I have so many decisions in life that has led to so many regrets here and there. But then again, we can't turn back time, so most of the time I just try and entertain myself, just not to think about much of the past. We can't live in the past and a t least try to move forward because the past can't be change.

Yes, it is true, we can not dwell in the past, or else life would be miserable.

That's the positive side of it; we learn a lot from such mistakes.

At least you learned from that, and now you and your husband can still find ways to solve it.

I guess everyone of us passed that stage wherein we made bad decisions . I don't dwell on it anymore , not even thinking about it anymore . No use crying over spilled milk as the saying goes .
What we should be happy is we learned from such bad decision .

I agree with you, my friend. We could not turn back the hands of time and correct bad decisions.

I think we all do things in the spur of the moment that we regret later on. That is part of learning in life.

Same here, because there were decisions that we regard as bad ones, but later, it resulted into something positive.

So they say we should not utter words or make decisions when we are angry.

I have made hasty decisions in the past that I probably shoudn't have made. It happens to a lot of us. At the time of the decision we don't always think about it, until after the fact. That's when the what if's and should haves, start sinking in. So yes, I've made decisions that I still regret, but if I had not made them, I wouldn't be who I am now.

I agree with you. The past experiences became our stepping stone to success/happiness.
