My Puppy Is No Longer A Puppy

I took this (bad) photo of Sweetie today and realized just how big she is. She still acts like a goofball and loves her people and her cats and her routine. It's been a hot summer and she does like the air conditioning but uses her dog door regularly to make sure no one is invading her turf especially the squirrel or other dogs. (she likes humans).
The photo also made me think about fellow myLotter, &wetnosedogs. We heard from her about a month ago but I haven't noticed anything since from her. Does anyone know how she's doing?
And now for some good music (I know, music is a matter of personal taste but it's still good old rock and roll for me). :))

aw, yer pup's a cutie! best she's awful hot with all that hair. i'm glad i've not a pup/cat door - no tellin's what they'd be haulin' 'nto the house without my knowledge, lol.
i'm saddened that i've heard no word'n @wetnosdedogs 'n sure'd hoped that @jaboUK might've. sadly i see such aint the case :(

I think if I left the dog door up at night, I'd have many unwanted visitors. I do hope @wetnosedogs is recovering from her illness and gets in touch with us soon.

@suziecat7 my fear'd be i'd've such durin' the daylight hours here, lol. i hope she's 's well, most worrisome when ya don't hear any word...i've that troubles with my neighbor 'cross the road

@crazyhorseladycx - I've also been thinking about Elizabeth Wallace. I don't know how near she is to those spreading wildfires in California. Have you seen her around?

Although I have not noticed anything from &wetnosedogs lately, she might be busy with this hot summer! Sweetie looks like she is just as she is named.

She really is mis-named but it she had it when I rescued her. Her name should be Mischief, I think.

The picture in not (bad) as you said. We also had a puppy and we called her Puppy, but now she's a Mommy.

It is a good song from one of my favorite bands. Sweetie is a bonafide family member and well-loved. I just had a conversation with a woman who wanted to get a kitten but didn't realize that there was more to it than just food. She changed her mind when I told her about spaying and shots and everything else that goes along with pet parenting. Jeesh.
