Children must be so happy. Point of the children, of course, not ours. When the orange alert were raised in some places in Metro Manila and nearby cities and municipalities because of the monsoon rain, its the children that are rejoicing and not us because we know the importance of study to the future of our kids. But for safety, we should obey the warning from authorities. With up to the waist of floods in some areas, it is really best to not send the kids to school. The heightened alert on floods are always for the sake of children. Prevention is better than cure. Its been raining here and too much water is not good.

As a student, we rejoice when there is a suspension of classes because we have time to relax from all the stress and school works. It is also hard to go to school when there is a typhoon.

Class suspension is for the safety of students. Schools can have make up classes to cover up their lessons.

@ilocosboy But there are some students too who don't want to go home or stay at home because they say it's boring.
