Hi Mylotters! It is my first week here in Mylot and I am just curious if most of you here has their personal strategy when it comes to posting discussions and comments. What works well for you? I was a member of the old Mylot, and back then, Ihave this strategy of writing down any idea for discussion that comes to mind whenever i am not in front of the computer so that when I'm logged in, I'll just have to encode them and not have a hard time remembering.

You should try to post discussions too! It is overwhelming to see when you get lots of responses. :)

@rina110383 You can always post a short one :) I also have a day job and manages to post discussions at least once a day.

@fcmondez I don't have time to create and maintain discussions. I have a regular job here in the Firm and remote jobs on weekends. I find it easier to manage my notifications if I only leave responses.

Yes I do the same now. I always write down topics in my notepad on my mobile and work on them gradually. I also have started interacting a whole lot more than I would.

I post discussions I feel it is boring if you don't cause then others have nothing to comment on. Yeah you can comment on others discussions but they have to be able to return the favor and if you don't have nothing posted then they can't.

I used to do that years ago, too. Now I'm just coming up with maybe one or two a day to give people something to reply to. And I don't like to start a lot, because then it's too hard to maintain keeping up with responses. You don't want to just leave people hanging. I prefer to respond, but of course if we all just did that there'd be nothing to discuss.I don't like to talk about politics at all on myLot so I just like to talk about little things I notice during the day.

I was actually more active in posting discussions in the old Mylot. I just got active responding in the new platform. I can say that I enjoy both now.

@fcmondez True, but we need posts we can respond and interact with. So taking the time to write a good topic that generates comments is also essential.

Yeah, the notifications are really helpful. With posting dicussions, you really have to take time and think of a new topic. At least in interacting via responses, you already have a topic and an ongoing conversation. :)

@just4him I like simple topics with simple answers but are really interesting. Howecer I don't get much time posting discussions because I spent so much replying to responses. You guys are the best!

Actually, whatever comes into your mind as long as it is not against the mylot rules and guidelines, you're free to post it! By the way, welcome to mylot fellow countryman!

I don't have a strategy for MyLot. I enjoy my time here and interact/respond to what I'm interested in. I write posts if I have something to share. =)

That's a good thing to not to be hung up on the number of posts you are able to make or your earnings. I think that is how you get the full experience of mylot.

This is a wise strategy. If only more members followed it. Then there wouldn't be so many posts on the thrilling (?!) topic 'I don't know what to write about'.

Well, maybe if you need advis on anything with your life, you can post it as a discussion. You'll be surprised by how many people are willing to help and voice out their opinions.

Your strategy is one good idea! I just write about my daily life. It could be pretty boring. Lol!

It's not just about writing about what you do in you daily life like a diary. More on jotting down if you came up with a topic idea so that you won't forget it once you log in in mylot.
