At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven. (Matthew 22:30)
The Bible also speaks of us being Jesus' bride. So my take is that one day I'll be married to Jesus. And hubby will just be in the friend zone.

I have been in the "afterlife" and it was just me.. No angels singing hymns, no thrones, no hell fire... Just me.. And it was awesome... Alone at last!.. Lol..

I hope not, I only have one brother in real life and we do not go well together. I will prefer to be able to marry again my husband in afterlife. I do not like the idea that we will be all like brothers and sisters, like priests and nuns.

To be honest, I'm not sure, but I tend to think ppl give too short an answer on this without really thinking the Biblical passage in question through. When we speak of New Testement theology regarding this, it isn't simply after life, but a life more then life-that is to say, resurrected life or complete life-something restored. I don't think that means that we are devoid of relationship, especially relationships which were meaningful, since the point of that life is "Redemption"-Jesus statement, which the priest is referring to, I am guessing, is that in that people are "akin to the angels" and are neither married nor given in marriage-however, I would be careful about over interpreting that, because the remark was made as an answer to the sarcastic question of the Sadducees, who denied the afterlife, and that needs to be understood within that context. If the point of the Savior is to save (by definition, yes), then I would think that relationship still exists, but in a different manner...if the concept of family and marriage is parabolic of God's love and God's family, then theologically we must understand that this would be in a fuller sense.
