Favorite Kissing Songs #1 - "Kiss Me"

We have arrived at the #1 slot in my Favorite Kissing Songs series, and that designation belongs to Stephen Tin Tin Duffy and his dance hit "Kiss Me."
Duffy has been at it since 1978, and is known for possibly one of the biggest career blunders ever: he was the original vocalist/bassist for Duran Duran, leaving before they hit big. He has also, among other things, done multiple stints in The Lilac Time.
"Kiss Me" has been recorded and released several times, the first in 1982. The dance floor hit has peaked at #4 in the UK, and at #13 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. It is, in my opinion, one of the great songs to come out of the 80's. And it's a blast to dance to!
The song has also been released by British pop star Robbie Williams, with whom Duffy has worked.
And there you have it: the greatest kissing song ever, at least, according to me!

And see, I had no idea there was a court case, but that does make sense. They are popular books.

This one makes me sad and laugh at the same time. Not out of meanness, but how it just happens.

You knocked it out of the ballpark with this one. This was a monster 80s new wave hit that lives on and on. A great one.

You couldn't get away from it in the Denver clubs. I still love it all these years later.
