I just read a post by @sishy7 where she talks about the home page here on MyLot/ Okay call me stupid but I have never seen a home page. I have no idea how to look at it and I had no idea it even existed.
I am sure that someone can tell me how we access the homepage. I am sure blushing!!!

I was going to say about the same. You only see the home page if you log out, and I never do.

Since I can't remember the last time I was logged out it is no wonder that I never noticed it.

@BelleStarr Yes I feel a lot less foolish too. I guess the only way you find out is to mention it! And walla our friends in myLot land will help. I'm certain there are a lot of things about myLot land I don't know. Like how to make it to $5.00 without spending lots of hours online making discussion and reading them and making comments too. I usually have my hands full trying to keep up just with the Notifications!

@Butchcass4 I am over $4 so far this month and I have not been on here a lot, it is more about using time wisely I think. I go on first thing in the morning and go to my friends discussions and read and comment. Between 10-20 of them. Then I take all the likes out of my discussions list. Then I respond to the responses and finally I look at the comments. I try to write a new discussion at least 5 times a week. I have never missed payout even when it was $10 but I rarely spend a lot of time on here because I don't have a lot of spare time.

I tried that and saw nothing but it seems you must be logged off.

Maybe that's it. You see it when you are not logged in, or when you first log in. I'm always logged in, so I never see anything that would constitute a home page.

@BelleStarr I'm only logged out when I clean the cache and it asks me to log back in. It's the only time I've seen the home page.

I remember seeing it before the whole layout change, but not anymore, so don't feel stupid. :-)

No clue here either-but guessing there really isn't a home page like we have seen on other sites.

lol I just couldn't imagine how there could be a home page and I had never seen it but since you can only see it if you are logged out, it makes sense.

logout, then type mylot.com in and you should come to the home page.
it may not work if you've saved all the passwords and log on automatically.
If you do then you need to clear all that out.

I always call it the frontpage (as in the newspaper). Maybe it is the page that comes when you log in here.

Yes I now know that but I would not really call it a home page, more of a landing page.

Perhaps a better description would be the default page on which you land if navigating to this website using "www.mylot.com" - it changes depending on whether you are logged-out or have asked your browser to remember the credentials you use to sign-in to the site.

@CRK109 But it got to be a big deal to be there or not to be there, probably better that we don't worry about that here.

@BelleStarr Maybe not directly, but increased traffic equals increased revenue for the site to pay its members. Besides, non-members may like what they see and sign up...

@sishy7 Yes I guess that is an advantage though I am not sure that we can earn from non-members.
