I play acoustic guitar, and I used to play piano. I could probably pick piano up again, but it hurts me to sit without back support so there wuld have to be a really good wheeled chair or something. It would take a lot of practice to remember things although i took six years of lessons.
I have been practicing guitar every day for the past couple weeks and I'm getting into it again. I got a new larger guitar several months ago land was spending a lot of time just getting used to the size and redeveloping my calluses (I use steel strings.)

I got a guitar recently (again) and have been getting serious about learning to play at my advanced age.

@lovebeingmummy2 It's a Fender which I could suddenly afford because they started making this one model in China. I would rather "buy American" but I couldn't pass this up. It has a great tone, so much better than my old guitar. And my old guitar got a broken tuning key for one of the strings. So I really had a reason. This one sounds SO much nicer.

I don't play any instruments. I used to play the clarinet when I was much younger. However, I sing so that's kind of a instrument. :)

@lovebeingmummy2 What part do you sing? I sing as a mezzo soprano.

I don't play any instruments, but my daughter has always been such a wonderful pianist. We bought her a piano when she was about seven and never had to make her practice. Playing was her solace when anything was wrong. She was our piano player at church for about five years until she was 17.
I loved coming home from work and hearing her playing. One of my greatest blessings was when she would play the piano for me to sing a special in church.

You must be so proud of your daughter playing the piano so well.

I can't play anything.
Both my sisters can play a few instruments and one in particular did some sort of super exam in london to get into a music school.

When I was a kid, I used to play the piano. During my high school days, I was part of the school's band. I played the drums and the lyre.
