Today is International Left-Handers Day

United States

I just saw that on my Datebook Calendar. My husband is left handed and one of my twin boys is left handed. There were some interesting facts about being left handed. For one thing, President Obama is left handed. Also, I didn’t know this. In the game of Polo, no players are allowed to play left handed. Who knew? Are you or one of your family members, left handed? Do you find it inconvenient sometimes? Picture by Pixabay

Oh come on now. I'm right handed and I can think of a LOT of right-handed people that I would hesitate to befriend.

I never knew there is actually a day as such. I always thought left-handed people are creative and imaginative, making them very interesting people. I have a cousin who is left-handed and i thought she is interesting. I actually tried writing on my left when i was still in school but gave up trying when my teacher told me how ugly my writing was.

I am left handed. I used to have issues sometimes at work, If I used a computer, I always had to move the mouse to the left. People would become annoyed because they had to move it back to the right if they wanted to use it. I trained myself to put it back on the right, but I didn't really think it was fair. I always had to move it, I don't know why them having to move it once in a while was such an imposition.

My wife is left handed since 20 years i never feel any inconvenience to her while working. It is by-birth & it is matter of genetic. It not possible to change the operation of work of left to right hand. These people are very lucrative in nature & sensible,.

Yes, my twins would suck their thumbs when they were first born and I could tell right away that one was left-handed and one was right-handed. Sonograms have shown unborn babies sucking their thumbs. So, yes, it is by birth.
