Top rated discussions are not changing / myLot

I have been observing from past 5 hours in top rated discussion section. Most of the articles are same. It is almost not changing. This shows that many of us are not posting good articles. What actually is the program?

I'm fairly sure top rated changes quite slowly...maybe every 12 or even 24 hours. I rarely, if ever, go there. I stick mainly to those that I'm following and recent discussions. I think top rated is related to the amount of likes in ratio to the amount of responses but I'm not totally sure.

@jayaramas Takes time to get there...just look at the number of responses on those discussions compared to the number of responses on the 20 newest discussions. To get 20+ responses to a new discussion can take a few hours.
