Bucket List #2

My son was able to check off the second item on his bucket list on his Mexican vacation. The first was swimming with whale sharks. The second was going to Cenote Ik Kil in Chichen Itza. He cracks me up, because he has checked off so many things on his list already. I will have to ask him if this is a new bucket list. Where in the world would you like to visit?

I have been to Cenote Ik Kil Chichen Itza many years ago. The place is really cool! I'm really interested in Australia right now, I would love to spend several months over there visiting every corner of the country. That and backpacking my way through Europe. Those two things are high on my bucket list.

I can't wait to hear more about our son's trip and see more photos. I've been to Mexico many times, but never there. I want to go to Australia, Antarctica, India, and Japan. It's a big beautiful world out there! I'm sure you will see it all!

@moffittjc Just do it little by little. There are so many things to do and see. It would take many lifetimes and buckets of unlimited cash.

I've been to Egypt and loved it, but wouldn't go now. New Zealand and Fiji is where my older son honeymooned. They absolutely loved NZ. I hope you get there.

Your son seems to be having great adventures. I never made a bucket list, in fact It's a comparitively new term to me. I've done most of what I wanted to do, anyway.

That looks like a pretty cool place to swim. My bucket list included taking a train trip. That was fullfilled with the mission trip. The other thing on my bucket list is a trip to Las Vegas. Hopefully some day I will get to experience the thrill of Vegas casinos too.

It's called Cenote Ik Kil in Chichen Itza, Mexico. It is water that filled a collapsed cave. There are many of them. He didn't report any snakes! Scream!

Oh it sounds like they had a wonderful time-nice to realize a goal or two on his list. I don't really have a bucket list per say, but there are many places that I'd love to discover in Canada. I want to be able to take a cruise on each of our 5 Great Lakes and I'd like to see each coast Atlantic as well as Pacific.

I always wanted to go to Ireland, Scotland, and England. I have longtime online friends in those places, and I would love to meet in person. I also love the landscapes there, the old castles, the history.

@DianneN I think I need to redo my bucket list. It seems like I have places that I will probably not ever visit. Maybe I should make it more doable but then again, it's fun to dream.

I want to see several things that I haven't had a chance to yet. Mt. Rushmore, the Grand Canyon, the Great Wall of China and the Great Pyramids to name a few.

That is a collapsed cave filled with underground water. Isn't it amazing? This is the most popular, but there are many more within that area.

@DianneN Maybe in the beginning you don't think it will happen so you don't make the list so long. But once you realise it's possible to achieve a few 'dreams' you're more able to add other things.
