I love Disney World. I have been to the park dozens of times. This last year, I took my daughter for the first time. Her favorite ride is definitely Splash Mountain and her second is Big Thunder Mountain (mine is definitely not Big Thunder Mountain). Some of the best rides in the parks for me are: Splash Mt (Magic Kingdom) Tower of Terror (Hollywood Studios) Pirates of the Caribbean (Magic Kingdom) Soaring (Epcot) And many, many more. What are some of your favorite rides?

I live less than an hour and a half from Disney World, and I have annual passes, so I take my two kids there about a dozen times a year, including our annual 10-day vacation at Christmastime. Interestingly, my son's favorite ride is Splash Mountain, and my daughter's favorite ride is Big Thunder. I've always been a fan of Space Mountain, but I do really like the updated Soarin' ride with the new scenes. Of course, my absolute favorite thing to do at Disney is drinking around the world at Epcot! lol

Wow I'm incredibly envious of you that you get to go to the park so often. My dream is to go around Christmas, hoping next year (fingers crossed). Of course, I'm also planning on moving to Florida sometime just so I can get an affordable season pass. Epcot has always been my favorite park even as a child. I have fond memories of playing bubbles with Alice in Great Britain. Now, I enjoy being able to relax a little, have great food and a drink. it's heaven to me.

@ageekmommy When I'm at Disney, I could spend every day in the World Showcase at Epcot and never get tired of it! lol Every year when we go during Christmastime, I tell my kids that every day but one is all about them. On then on that one day, it is all about me! And they know the routine...when it's my day to do whatever I want, I head to Epcot! So they get nine days to do whatever they want, and I get one day to do whatever I want. Sounds like a fair trade! lol

I've been a couple of times to the park. My favorite ride is probably Soarin, though I have not seen the new footage. I really enjoyed Star Tours also. I'm not a thrill rider though. None of that for me... ;) Splash Mountain was more ride than I liked.

@DarkDancer I like them all. I have a soft spot for MGM because well it was favorite park as a child (and apparently haven't adapted to the modern name). I like Epcot a lot too. Some of my best memories are in Epcot.

awww that's nice that it's local for you though. The nearest Disney park for me is hundreds of miles. LOL I like caterpillar rides. :) My daughter and husband love the tea cups (they make me nauseous).

How I wish we have Disneyland in our country so that I can bring my daughters there too. But we have fantasy land here similar to Disneyland.

You picked a good time to go to Disney! The parks usually aren't overcrowded in October. They start getting really busy in November, and by the time December rolls around, people are packed into the parks like sardines in a can!

Fall in Orlando is beautiful You will have a great time! I was hoping to go next January...we shall see. I was there in the winter as a child but never as an adult. We wanted to go this year but they are having some special Princess Half marathon ( which I know is an annual event, however, I believe this is a banner year for it). They are expecting 25, 000 people just for that.
