If someone surprised you with a birthday party, are you one to embrace it and be overjoyed? Or, are you someone who does not care for being surprised; even if it is, a well-meaning and thoughtful jesture?
Can you also share what your experience has been, regarding being surprised, and what your thoughts are, as to liking them or not?

I was surprised ones by my students. It was a birthday surprise. When I entered the classroom one of them was holding a cake and they sang me a birthday song. Then I got presents and those presents were the things I wanted the most. It made me happy.

Surprise! Thought I could surprise you, with a Taylor Swift demonstration of looking surprised. (lol...) (Did it work?)
(And doesn't Taylor, have a way... of looking totally surprised?)

Could that also mean, that you love other (certain) surprises? Just kidding.

I would be nice about it and probably end up enjoying it. But it isn't going to happen, because anyone close to me knows that I don't like being the center of attention. I guess I should have just gone ahead and say no, I don't like it. I just wouldn't be pissed off about it.

For sure I will love it. I haven't experienced such surprise parties.
