I also miss this feature and to be frank always check for top-rated discussions and I can't help it by admiring such discussions gaining recognition from us here in Mylot.

I vaguely remember some such feature but I believe that MyLot had some trouble with the engine which sends out automatic emails. There certainly were problems with the sending of notifications when a discussion was deleted and I believe that, because, these problems were complex and difficult to resolve and, besides, not 'essential', both features were discontinued. I don't remember that I ever found it very useful and, certainly, if I want that information today, I look at the 'Hot Discussions' and 'Top Rated Discussions' menus (which give approximately the same information).

I remember getting those. It really didn't do that much for me. I don't generally have time to read and discuss "quality" articles while I'm here.

I don't miss. it clogs my email, in fact there are mails that are still clogged in my email.

I never had that emails before. Seems that's exciting to receive them through emails.

I don't think that is a good way to go becasue the new memebers and the others that don't make it to the top won't get the responses and their chance to be on top if all the attention is on a small group of people or topics.

I don't recall as I do not subscribe to myLot Mail.

I guess it'd be good to have that but I am assuming that it may cost them lot to send mails now with growing members.
