The 9th of Av, Tisha b'Av, commemorates a list of catastrophes so severe it's clearly a day set aside by G-d for suffering.
That is what I've been taught,
but ill take it more as an healthy way to clean the body while I resting..
Today it's very hot so i hope all goes in healthy way.
Good day to all :)

I wish i was good at fasting but I just loose my mind every time I do. I wish there's way to stop being hungry.

Part of what makes it easy for me its the fact that its been a strict rule for years, and all ppl around me are doing the same, so its kind of supportive.
I think that what makes any kind of group very strong in keeping its priorities.

Doesn't fasting is also a way to hurt your body by depriving them of nutrition?

Most people, especially in the West, can survive a day without food.
Plus, in Judaism fasts are designed to be as "easy" on the body as possible. Since Jewish days begin at sundown, a fast lasts from sundown to sundown, meaning that the body only goes about 25 hours without food. Most Christians who fast and non-religious people begin their fasts "in the morning"...after not haven eaten since dinner the night before. So, when they fast "for a day" they're actually fasting more along the lines of 36-40 hours.

Thanks 'four walls' for putting it this way ????
I am thinking that these days people are hurting their bodies with such bad nutrition that the body is not built to handle,
Today my body rested from so much junk and non healthy food that im used to eat every day :)
