In India, festivals will start from August and ends in December. During these 5 to 6 months, lots of festivals are there, with many holidays. In the photo, you can see one such festival. In every country, festivals are there but in India, it is a bit more. It is really enjoyable to meet and greet people, chat with them, have special food prepared for the occasion. It has become more of a celebration rather than sentiment these days.

Enjoy! About now, most schools are starting back up in the States. August (if I recall correctly) is to only month without a holiday. I'm looking forward to cooler weather in a couple of months.
