I really love baking and recently I tried to make an Esterházy torte....it didn't turn out quite like I wanted it to, (although it still wasn't bad!) I remember once I spent hours making a coffee cake for my sister who absolutely loves coffee cakes...first time I ever made one and just when I finished making it, I dropped the whole thing....it was a sad moment :'((( :P What kinds of things have you cooked or baked recently? did they turn out as you expected them to?

I don't think i've ever tried jerky before :P this coffee cake required quite a lot of coffee, sometimes it makes it taste a bit too bitter :( (maybe it's the coffee I use!)

@Jessicalynnt ah I see :D unfortunately my parents wouldn't let me buy anything like that, I'd have no place to store it :(

I love to cook as well, I like doing free style some times my dishes would come great and then another time it's a total disaster. I makes various juices all the time, I recently made pumpkin juice and it was awesome

@Annie_C Yes you could grow some they take about 5-6 months and you will surely enjoy it them more when it's coming out of your garden.

I am a good cook I won't deny or fake on it. But I am worst cake baker. I don't have an idea what exactly goes wrong when I bake any cake. Sometimes they come out good but still they aren't something they should be. Maybe I don't like sweets so I don't like baking sweets and may be I don't ever get them right.. But yes I bake wonderful spinach nd mushroom tarts, chicken, cheese and egg tarts/ pies. I also bake awesome cheese and chocolate puff pastry and also very good vegetable and chicken puff pastries. I am very good savory baker I can say it a worst sweet baker. I cannot make anything that is sweet at all.

I made a strawberry rhubarb galette and it was wonderful. It has been too hot for two weeks to do much baking but I put in some fillo cups with chocolate kisses and stuck blueberries on them and they were quite good.

@Annie_C I prefer doing other chores, like washing dishes, doing my laundry, cleaning my room, ironing clothes, but not cooking or baking.

@rina110383 I always hated doing laundry :o or folding clothes (mainly because I thought it was pointless, I hang all of my clothes)
