We Have A New Car!

My brother traded in his old car and got us an SUV. It's a Kia Sedona and it is so pretty. I love it. The picture on this post isn't our car but it looks just like it.
I say 'our' but it's really my brother's car. But I will be able to use it when I need to. I am so happy for him. He was kind of frazzled when he first came home because he had to work all day on a Saturday, then he was at the dealership for hours. It didn't really sink in with him until a few hours and a couple of glasses of wine later...lol.

Very nice! Ha ha I know that not sinking in feeling when you get that new car - it's like did I really buy a new car?

It sure looks like a beauty! The nice thing about having a family truckster (that's what I call these types of vehicles) is that they are so versatile and convenient and adaptable for the whole family. I hope you and your brother get many good years out of it!

Thank you! It looks like a van from the outside but I found out last night from my brother that it's a crossover. He tried to explain it to me but I didn't really understand. All I got is that it's a cross between a regular car and a mini-van.

@moffittjc I agree that it looks like a mini-van from the outside. On the inside, it only fits 4-5 people. The back is the cargo area.

@simone10 Hmmm...from the photo it doesn't really look like a crossover, it looks more like a minivan, but the styles are changing so much these days that it's hard to know what is what!

Great looking car, I am sure you will love driving it and get many years of good service. I haven't bought a new car in many many years but our used cars have served us well.

My wish is to have my own car someday. Wow, that looks like a van that can accommodate many passengers. It sure good to use when you have outing or travel together with the family.
