My Busy Weekend

Yesterday was the class reunion. I couldn't take a lot of pictures as my battery went low on me. But I did get a couple pictures including this delectable one above. It was a chocolate cake with delicious frosting. I'm not certain how many of my classmates showed up, but we all had a great time catching up. And there were class pictures taken by several spouses. I hope they send me a couple of them. It would be great. Today was the church picnic. I didn't get any pictures of that as the battery wasn't ready yet on my camera. However, there again, it was a good relaxing time getting to know members of my new congregation and watching an interesting game of volleyball. The ball was at least three times the size of a normal volleyball. The kids had fun with water balloons as well as the usual playground equipment. As for me, all this excitement made me tired and I came home to my new apartment and took an hour nap before returning to interact with all of you for a few hours before I return to the house to get more packing done. My son did get the treadmill out of the front hall so I have started work up there and should have that all taken care of when I get back there this evening, and should also have the rest of the living room packed up as well. Not too much left there either. So that's what I'm up to. How about you? How was your weekend? Thanks for reading.
