When I was at school my favourite subjects were Biology, English and Cookery or Home Economics to give it its correct title. My least favourite with maths and PE/Gym. What is or was your most (or least) favorite subject in school? What is or was your most (or least) favorite subject in school?

My favorite subject in school was lunch! lol In all seriousness, my favorite was Calculus and every other advanced math class I took. My worst subject was chemistry, by far. I could sit there and solve calculus formulas that were three pages long, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out a basic chemistry calculation combining two elements! lol

@lovebeingmummy2 You wouldn't know it these days! I can't even seem to help my kids with their math homework! I guess I have forgotten everything I ever learned in math! lol

@enlightenedpsych2 I was great in biology and anatomy, and most other subjects, it was just chemistry that really blew my mind. I still can't figure out how I could be so adept at so many other subjects, and then completely bomb chemistry!

I could easily memorize scientific names so I excelled in Biology.

Same as you, I didn't like any math or P.E. I think the only thing I liked in P.E. was when we did folkdancing, lol. Tennis was okay, basketball and volleyball were okay but realy I could have done without the whole thing.

@lovebeingmummy2 - it was the replacing of the numbers with the alphabet that gave me headaches and got me academically lost in mathematics.

@lovebeingmummy2 Math was my achilles heel in school. I can do the basics but when they decided I needed to know if x+z=t or angels of anything I just zoned out. Might as well of been talking in a foreign language to me. Have a blessed day

Similar to you, but whilst I enjoyed home economics I absolutely hated needlework. So much so that I forget what the real name of the subject was. I dreaded it so much, until one day my father said to me that probably my teacher dreaded my being in the class just as much as I dreaded attending the class. For some reason, after that I felt sorry for the old biddy. I still can't sew for crap though!

When I was in school my favorite subjects were always English and Math. In the younger years I really enjoyed problem solving. My least favorite was French class. Now I wish I had paid closer attention because where I live you can get some really good paying jobs by having French as a second language. My kids dad was French. My daughter speaks french and my grand daughter is starting French this year.

Although I wasn't any good at it, my most favourite subject was art as I just enjoyed it. My least favourite was any kind of PE/sport as I felt that it brought out the worst in most of the pupils, making them aggressively competitive, plus I was useless at all physical activity.
