A Lazy Cook

I have been a lazy cook today. I make tacos with chopped yellow pepper, red onion, lettuce,and tomato. Of course topped off with shredded cheese. They were good if I do say so myself. My better half agreed with me. I didn't heat up the kitchen at all and only had a few dirty dishes.
About the only physical thing we did today was our exercises. I did take several phone calls from family and that was about it. I'm feeling like I shirked my duties today. Did you have a busy day?

I'm half-way through my day and I can say that it really wasn't busy as I expected.
I'd want days that I can just sit back and chill. Hectic days are sometimes too toxic for yours truly!

Yes, I have a new Granddaughter and have been busy messaging and giving out lots of advice. I like the sound of the Tacos very nice. Have not see you for ages.

Well, looking back to the day you created this, I had a busy day, as most Sundays are since I help out at my daughter's shop. Usually on these days I don't cook, I am way too tired once I get home, so either my husband cooks or we order out.

I had a very busy day with cleaning and cooking and selling a few things on ebay. Once I was done being busy for the day, I settled in with a book I've just started. And now that the weather is so much nicer and cooler, I am sure I'll be able to get even more done!

tacos sound yum to me :) there aint always a need fer a big meal. jest too hot 'n sometimes we jest don't feel like't, lol.

@RubyHawk aw, thanks, hon! i've 'd more time off the last 3-4 years than i've'd my entire life, lol. i can't seem to relax much 'round here. see too much that needs tendin' 'n start tacklin' such to the best'f my ability.

We went to church and out to breakfast and took a swim in the pool and watched the Olympics. That was a pretty quiet day. We had leftovers for dinner.

I had to work all day and it was a busyoung day there. I was glad when it was time to finally come home. I didn't have to put too much thought into our evening meal because we just had leftovers from yesterday meal. So even though my work day was quite busy, I had a nice relaxing evening once I got home. The tacos you made sound really good. They are one of my favorite things. They are quite and easy to make and very satisfying.
