People who say All Lives Matter in response to the Black Lives Matter movement are so annoying. Yes all lives DO matter. But white lives are already privileged enough. They don't need any movement to save their lives cause their lives aren't being threatened. It's like saying all genders matter. Of course they do, but we are focusing on one gender right now because it needs empowerment. BLM isn't against white people or anyone else. It's just for black people who continue to be the subjects of racism and oppression.

I think it is kind of presumptuous for people living on the other side of the world, with a caste system in place and baby girls killed rather than family providing dowries to think that they know what is happening in the United States. I believe that in group thought and chanting of "black lives matter" and rioting and shooting and killing police officers and business owners, those people are saying that their life does not matter.People of all races should understand "my life matters" and "your life matters" and make choices that let them live peaceably and safely. I will say that I have friends of many races and mixed races and poverty levels and wealth. I have worked in a system that tries to educate poverty and violence stricken young people, so I am not speaking from a position of newspapers and television but from real life.

@GardenGerty My cousin brother studies at Berkeley. He's been there for 3 years. And apart from that I regularly read articles, newspapers, journals etc. so I have an idea what is actually happening in the United States. Caste system discussion and "living on the other side of the world" is literally not relevant here.

Actually no, I feel you are wrong. Under the auspices of proclaiming that black lives matter, groups of black people are going out and waging guerrilla warfare on police and other white people. You assume all white people are privileged, but they are not. You may not realize that there are white people who live in poverty, generation after generation, without even rudimentary education or sanitation. There are schools that do not teach and children who cannot learn. Until we respect all lives, and respect ourselves the cycle does not get broken. So, I am sorry if I annoy you, but all lives do matter and people are not the equivalent of animals. BLM IS against white people, and authority. It is used as an excuse to riot, kill, and pillage.

There are some antisocial elements that are using the BLM movement for their own activities, but then such people are found in every caste, society and section. The BLM movement goes larger than that. So many cops literally shoot weaponless black people who aren't a threat. I am not saying all white people and educated and rich, but they still have so much more political, social and overall economic dominance over black people. And I literally said in my post that all lives DO matter, but let's focus more on the ones threatened.
