Today I was going back home from shop when I saw a cat that was black and white. She saw me and meowed twice then went to me;I was like:what a nice kitty, when she started rubbing her head onto my leg.I patted her and started walking home when she started following me.I tried to make her go away, but she went with me.I don't have cold heart so I let her come inside the house and gave her some milk. After few hours her owner showed up and started saying that I stole it.After I explained him what actually happened he told me:Don't come near my cat anymore. I was really mad and after he left I hit table as hard as I could, because I don't like to be called for something what I haven't done. Do you guys think that I have done right thing?

Why are you even asking if you did the right thing or not. You just gave a cat some milk which followed you to home. That was a very good deed. The owner was crazy

Who knows...I'm a cat lover so I would have probably done the same. Actually I have too many cats, but I might have shooed them aside and gave the other one something to eat.

I guess these days people are so paranoid. They think petting someone else cat is crime.

You did nothing wrong. The cat owner overreacted. If he was so scared about somebody taking his cat then he should not have allowed the cat outside to roam the streets. He should have an indoor cat if he thinks everybody that pays attention to his cat is trying to steal it. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
