India in its 52 years could send a successful female Gymnast who represented India in Rio 2016 summer Olympics. She is the first Indian female Gymnast ever to compete in the Olympics. and the first Indian Gymnast to do so. She is from Agartala. She completed the near-impossible feat at Rio of winning a Gymnastics Medal Unfortunately she missed the Bronze in Rio 2016. Her performance is exemplary and needs encouragement. She is the role model for the young generation of India. Yours is just a hit and miss case... We are all feeling proud of you Deepa Karmarkar...... Your performance in Rio 2016 is more than a Gold Medal for INDIA ... YOU ARE THE PRIDE OF INDIA WE ALL THANKQ Deepa Karmarkar..

She really is the pride of india. I read somewhere she used to practise on some scooter seat when she was younger. She really did make all Indians proud

@shivamani10 Just like our Hidilyn Diaz who open the door for weightlifting in our country when she wins silver medal in the little known sport in our country.
