The Best Cookies Ever

I was so happy when we went to the grocery store and they had our favorite cookies on sale. So, we bought 4 bags of Milano cookies. I know, that seems like a lot but there aren't a lot of cookies in the bad and they last us a long time. These cookies are so good and they just seem to melt in your mouth. I particularly like the Salted Caramel kind. As good as they are, the cookies are a little rich so I can only eat 1-2 cookies at a time. It definitely satisfies my sweet tooth. Have you ever had Milano cookies? What is your favorite snack?

Oh my gosh, Milano's are my absolute favorite! When I was a child, my grandmother used to keep them stocked in her pantry, and every time us grandkids would come over she would let us indulge in them! And you are so right, they just seem to melt in your mouth.

@hereandthere Yes, Milano cookies have been around for a long time! Except, that many years ago when I was a child, there was only one flavor of Milano. Now, it seems like you can get your Milano's in the three or four different flavors.

@moffittjc Your grandmother and mine sound a lot alike. When I was a child, they didn't have Milanos then but she had some kind of lemon cookies that were so soft and we used to love them.

Milano is the city in Italy where I was born and I lived the first 22 years of my life. Put aside this fact, I never tried Milano cookies.

@DianneN I know the company, because the cookies made by Pepperidge Farm, are sold my the COOP supermarkets here in Switzerland. We bought some products when we visited the United States.

I wonder why they have called the cookies Milano. We surely have nothing similar in my native city.

Cookies are high in calories and sugar so I can certainly understand not eating them that often. I am not usually a cookie person but I love these.

I try not to buy snacks as I eat them right away. Lately, I have bought too much salami and ham. It is expensive and doesn´t help my need to slim down.
