Today Is Going To Be A Me Kind Of Day

Hello everybody. How the heck are you doing? I hope everyone is at the top of their game and full of vim and vigor.
I am going to have a me type of day. What does that me? I am only going to do what I want to do. I will not push myself to accomplish things or put pressure on myself.
Why you might ask. I need to relax. I think all of us need a me day every once in a while.
Tomorrow I will be busy all morning getting a chemical stress test. Depending on what they find in the way of blockages, I may or may not be home tomorrow afternoon.
If there are blockages that need to be taken care of they will go ahead and take care of them. I am looking forward to getting all my tests done so I can get past the thyroid surgery on the 25th.
Anyway, I have named today Me Day and I will enjoy relaxing, writing a little bit, connecting with everyone on MyLot, and just plain doing what I want to do.

@HazySue, Hope you enjoyed your day. And wishing you a successful surgery and a speedy recovery.
I do more of "me-time" than "me-days". I enjoy shutting off the outer world - no phones, no TV, no internet. I normally spend this time with my journals (on pen and paper), playing with cats, watching the clouds float by and stuff like that. I love the silence

Today, I'm here at work. I'll have a client meeting after my lunch break.

@crazyhorseladycx thanks, I have finished my last test before surgery. I'm waiting for some of the results still.

Sounds like you have the perfect plan. I agree that everybody needs a me day every once in awhile. I really can't think of the last time I had one of those but I will be penciling one in real soon. It is long overdo. Today I am at work. I work Monday-Friday every week and have my weekends off. Our weekends are usually quite busy. Even though I enjoy spending time with my finance when I am not at work I do need one of those days that is just for me. Have a great day!
