Hi everyone! 
Before you ask, I will explain. I am doing fine and getting back on track so you will probably be seeing more of more again 
Four and a half months have passed and it seems the tablets are working and I got almost full marks when I had my first check-up last week. Once I completely stop smoking then the doctor will scold me no more - but it isn't easy 
From tomorrow I will have yet another tablet - but this one will be a pleasure to deal with and I intend practising here. It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab A and will allow me to be online when I am at the sea for a week soon and from the couch during the winter 
Right now I intend catching up on as many messages as I can and I might get to some discussions too.
What have I missed?

@mysdianait I have hardly had any holidays for ages. Furthermore it depends on what date you escaped.
I was in Malta in May, Turkey in June and Mallorca in July. So far this month I have been nowhere, unless you count a weekend in Wales and this coming weekend in the Isle of Man.

Hahaha Not tasty but it should be pleasurable I hope
It was skates but I doubt I will be using them for a while as some of these meds have side effects which interfere with driving

I bought myself a tablet a month or so ago. I still don´t know how to use it except that now I can read some free books online by Amazon.

Mine will arrive tomorrow and it seems very similar to my Samsung smartphone so hopefully I will soon get used to using it.

Hi there @jaboUk and thank you!It was a long wait for that first check-up and although I certainly felt better than before, I was not certain that everything was going ok until last week. The next one is in the autumn and they might start lowering the dosage of some of the meds that I am taking. Fingers crossed!

I've been away for quite a while too so can't help on what you've missed. I can welcome you back and wish you all the best with your health. Stopping smoking is very hard, I wish I had never started but it's too late now to change that.
The new tablet will do you a world of good.

@mysdianait I went away because I got confused when things changed, then lots of friends disappeared from here. I found them on Bubblews so went there. A few weeks ago I got curious about MyLot and when I came back it looked good. I'm going to try and be back more often. Sometimes life just gets in the way, other times it's me being dim.

Hi there! Yes I am much better now thamk you but I still get tired easily.
My desktop has XP which is so outdated now that many things don't work. I am still unsure about how to replace it (a laptop or spending more to upgrade it all) so hopefully I will get used to using the tablet before it packs up completely.

@LadyDuck I am all set to go on my tablet now but have not done much on it yet except setting it all up. When I am at the sea in a couple of weeks I will try it out from there

@mysdianait Also my desktop still uses XP, it is true that it's outdated, but I still prefer this old computer and system to my new laptop. The tablet is nice, but I cannot get the habit to use it (and Windows 10 
).

I was worried about you - glad to see you back! I got a tablet and it is ok for reading, but it's no fun typing on it, I prefer the computer. What have you missed? Way way way too much! Some fun some not so fun!

@pgntwo That seems to be the same story this summer here too. The rain makes an appearance evry week but keeps the temperature lower than usual which is fine by me.

No, I have no desire to go on a cruise at all. I can't swim and would be terrified the whole time. I am going to a resort here, the same as last year as I like it so much there

@hereandthere Yes and I am going to the same place as last year (which I never posted about here). It is small, quiet and relaxing but near enough to biigger places and on the bus and train route if the weather is bad (which is unlikely).

Glad to hear you're doing well and stopping smoking too! Always great news. I have also been away pretty much that same time frame or more. Maybe we can reunite together! I hope you enjoy your new tablet. I don't know about them much but I know Samsung is a great brand.
