Moonlight and a Fox

It's a full moon night tomorrow. These days the moon has been shining with an extra dose of brightness right into my living room. Sometimes at nights it feels very pleasant to just sit and soak in the moon-light. Wonder what is so enchanting about the moon. What is so seductive? It feels like something very very ancient, much before the history of the human species - calling me back Home; shining on the path back Home. Last night as I sat entranced by the moon an image flashed in my mind's eye. A memory of a magical moment from the years gone by. I was in a night-flight going from somewhere to somewhere. Dinner had been served and the trays cleared. I had a window seat. Just as the lights inside the aircraft dimmed to allow people to sleep, I glanced outside to a see a spectacular sight. It must have been a full moon, for everything outside was bathed in this white moonlight - the skies above and the forests below. There was this sense of a magical presence all around. From the heights I thought I spotted a water-body down below. Or was it my imagination? It was a time to fly on the wings of imagination. Maybe somewhere down below the elves and the fairies had gathered together around the water. And in my mind's-eye I thought I saw a red fox. Gazing at the moon with unblinking eyes....gazing right into my mind..... What was the fox telling me? There are times I still wonder.
