I remember pretty well the name we were calling him with "ORAMPAD". This is the nickname, given to a person who happened to be in my Cricket team. Actually, Orampadu is a very small village in Rajampet Taluk, Kadapa District. Even if you search in the Google it is difficult to find the name of this remote village. Still, this is a small village in Oblamvaripally Mandal A Dark complexioned person from a village by name "ORAMPAD'. He was a well-built personality with high stamina. He alone was taking charge of the entire half of the long fielding ie., half side or on side fielding. in Cricket He had immense stamina who could run throughout the field without being gasped We were reaching playground at 7.A.M and could stand up to 1 doing the fielding. The lunch we used to take was only two ROTIS (Flat bread) with some Vegetable curry. The two ROTIS were not sufficient for him and he was searching for some more. We were convincing him not to eat more while before fielding or before batting. After the game is over, we were eating as per our taste sufficiently. Being the Captain of the team I was watching him. He was unmindful of the injuries in the game. He was a good cricketer, football player, Hockey player. He was the captain of the both Hockey and Football teams. Though we were all having good stamina this man was totally different. A 5'4" person, with rough skin, dark eyes with sharp looks, and thick hair with full of oil is still in my memory. After I left for further studies I have not heard about him and he is not in contact with anybody. He was coming to play the game catching the train regularly from the very remote village. Even now, it is because of his game the name of the village is still jn my memory.
