Better Than I Thought

Have you ever planned something and worried how it would turn out? Sometimes things turn out even better than we thought they would. What is something that happened in your life that turned out much better than you thought it would? When I signed a contract to sell jewelry over 40 years ago, I was a rather shy person, not very outspoken at all. I had just had a new baby and we needed a bigger house, so I thought that I could make a few extra dollars selling jewelry. My expectations were to perhaps earn an extra $100 a week so that we could afford to get a bigger house. We had four teenagers and a new baby, living in a three-bedroom house. As it turned out, because of my determination to succeed, I began to grow my business to the point that I was making as much as $800 or more every week, and I was only working away from home about 12 hours a week, doing home parties. The rest of my “job” entailed things I could do from home, another 20 hours or so per week, making contacts and setting up more parties and events. I not only earned a nice paycheck but I also earned over 30 FREE all-expense paid trips and other prizes, not to mention tons of FREE jewelry. So this decision turned out even better than I had ever dreamed it would. How about you? Picture by Pixabay
