Not too long ago, Snow Leopard Publishing had agreed to publish my novel, "My Headless Son Fred and His Head Baby Brother Headley," coming out in 2017. Now my flash-fiction piece, "The Room Key," will be in Centum Press' anthology, "One Hundred Voices," coming out in paperback September 23.
It took around a year searching for a publisher. Finally! Now I can sleep. Dang it! I can't sleep, now I have to market it. No!!!! :(

Pro-tip:"When marketing, know your audience and how your story will appeal to them. Then use those aspcts as selling points to appeal to potential consumers."
What about your characters and story's narrative appeals to your demographic and speaks to them? And in actually given that you have a publisher, you most likely told them in a query letter what the appeal of this story is. So you take what you told them, and then spice it up to hook in potential consumers. Actually that's merely a theory of mine, I need to test it out myself, before I can say:"Yeah, it works."
But yeah, I feel your pain, as marketing is an exhausting endeavor. Be glad you're not an animator like me, because making animated trailers is exhausting. So you might need to get some hands to help you market your book... Lord knows I need to do that too.

Thanks so much for the tips---I could use all the help I can get. You know, I see my novel turned into an animated film. But first things first, I need to sell at least one book

@theBlock Yeah selling that first book is crucial if you want one of stories to become an animated film. This is why appealing to the right audience is important. Because if you appeal to enough people your numbers will get the attention to animation and movie studios who will want to invest in making film adaptation.
I'm sure you know how that works, the studios come to you and your publisher, and pay you a fee to acquire the rights to make the film. And then on top of that if your book is targeted towards kids and teens you'll have companies knocking on your door looking to make products used to promote the film. And then of course every dime they make you get a cut of... This as you undoutebly know is how The Harry Potter franchise has made Rowling a billionare...
