Are You Creaky? Morning Issues?

I was just thinking about my morning issues. Many times like this morning, when I get up I'm kind of congested and my eyes are weepy. Also my knees and neck are stiff. I just put some Icy Hot on my knees, but really what they need are for me to walk around and "walk it off."
I am 65 and I am just wondering how bad these morning issues will be by the time I am 95. My mother and father have reached that age, so I think the odds are good I might live a really long time. I might have a knee replacement or two by then, lol.
How about you? Do you have any particilar issues in the mornings?

@CiinnamomGirl sometimes. But not as bad as you.I know enough every morning I stretch out before breakfast.
This is something you should do.Stretch out your legs and do some simple stretching excersize
do it slowly and every day.Legs tighten up when you are sleeping.Same thing with the neck.Simple stretching help some.
Also you can get load of information on line.Good luck

Good idea! Thanks. Takes me awhile to "wake up" anyway, so may as well!

i've issues most'f the time :) yepperz, movin' 'bout 'tis the best thingy fer those joints. sadly many jest reach fer their bottles 'f pills'n stay'n bed.
i consider 't a good day jest to wake 'p. a great day if'n both legs work so's i don't smack the door/floor/wall. a stellar day when the legs/hands/brain 'n speech all work 't the same time.

I have a bad knee so some mornings I have a hard time walking on it. My back bothers me too at time. I definitely am starting to been the pain of aging. My eyes also take a little longer to focus. My eye sight is just not what it use to be.

My eyes were never real good. So for me it isn't age, I'm just blind as a bat!

I have terrible knee pain so all day long I have issues. I will probably need knee replacement at some point but am trying to hold off as long as I can. Getting old is no fun

My mom's knee replacement worked wonders! She was 85 and it took a year for her to feel normal. But because of it she still gets around pretty good.

It takes a few minutes to get going in the morning, but no real aches and pains. I think it's because we joined The YMCA and I go five days a week, I!ve had one knee replaced and have an appointment in September with my surgeon to plan to have the other done. Exercising daily for the last 4 years has helped me emensly, I feel like I did when I was 40. I!m 70....

Oh yes! I am 60 with bad hips--so as soon as I get some coffee in me I start moving! Exercise really, really helps!

oh yeah I can certainly relate. Especially with the back problems I have if I move suddenly when I first wake up oh boy and I seem like I have to lay there for a few minutes before I am able to move cause Im always so stiff.

I feel that way too but because I'm younger than you, I can still manage myself the easy way.

Yeh my brother in law is my age, and he's always done very physical labor -- plus high school football--so he's having worse problems than mine in his joints.
