Do You Like Driving or Being the Passenger Best?

My car is in the shop and I miss driving. I do not like being a passenger for long. Why am I mentioning this? Because alot of people around me have told me that they prefer someone else driving most of the time. That includes short drives or long drives like for instance a road trip. They are in the majority, so what happens is that they have their ways of showing me or actually telling me. It does not matter that I am a "natural-born" driver because I like the action and the having to be alert and the sense of direction just clicks better. It's also what some would say, sporty. I guess they are just more laid back and also see it as a big responsibility that I don't mind. But they all have cars and when they have to ask for a ride or for some reason lose the ability to drive for whatever the reason, they all stop bothering me. Most will say they like both driving and being a passenger depending on the situation, but most of the time I'll drive.

I do not drive. I never have because of my vision. I enjoy being a passenger.

I have to drive or I will get carsick. It's bad. I get motion sickness very easily and it helps if I'm in control of the vehicle.

Although I've never had an accident I don't enjoy driving that much. I do what I have to do but I would much rather sit and relax while someone else drives.

I don't drive so I have no option but to be the passenger but I'm a pretty nervous one.

I enjoy driving as well, but since I now have low vision and cannot always see well at night or in unfamiliar places, I also don't mind being a passenger. And, even though I am at times prone to car sickness too, I also don't mind giving up my driver's seat to someone whose car sickness is worse.

I can drive and I love the freedom of doing so but I do admit I love being on passenger seat because it gives me the ability to play with my phone.

I can't drive - I like public transport as it gives me time to read during the journey

I like it when my husband drives and I can take pictures because that is what I like to do.

I like to be a passenger - mostly because I can't drive.

I like to drive most of the time, except sometimes when I feel really tired after a long day...

I hope your car comes back soon. I love the freedom driving gets me. I prefer driving if I'm alone, or if I'm in a non-congested area
