Why do I feel scared?!

This would be the 6th day that I'm out of work. My employer has yet to pay me for last week's job that he promised to fulfill but he has not given a date. Not just me but our team leader hasn't been paid yet as well. I'm worried that I will be out of work for another week and I can't have that because I still have debts to pay. I've managed to pay off a fraction of what I owe because I got hired as a VA but for now, I have no work assignment.
I've updated my online resume at OnlineJobs.ph and got an invitation to apply three days ago. It was a job for eight 1000-word (8000 words total) articles worth $50 of product reviews. It got me thinking, though, what kind of website wants 1000-word product reviews? I'd be given 3-4 days to finish the job, though, as well as guidelines on how to write the reviews. My job had me writing five 500-word articles every day (2500 words daily, more or less). I gave up my rest days for more pay but I suffered at the last few weeks. I didn't get sick but I forced to motivate myself to keep writing because of the money.
So now I'm thinking, should I accept the job? I'll be paid at every end of the week. I just don't understand why I'm hesitant to accept it. A 1000-word article is a step up to what I used to do but I supposed I won't be left to myself like before and I will get more support from my employer if I do so. Anyhow, it's worth the shot.

I am also a freelance writer and I write about product reviews, website promotion, and many more. I used to get 1000 word assignment, of course it is a little challenging since I am used to 500 word article as well but since it doubles the pay, its okay for me and whenever there is an order like that, I accept it. As long as the payment is verified and according to you, you need money right now, then I think you should accept it.

Hopefully, the situation gets sorted out and you get paid for by your previous job. If I were you, I'd accept the writing job. Everything will count towards paying your debt plus the added work experience will help you as well.

Hope you'll get your payment. At least you have some writing jobs for your income.
