Some Survey pages are just awful

For one, Mturk, yes it pays... but its like 0.01 cent PER SURVEY! You could spend like 20 minutes on one and make a single penny, I am getting aggravated with it. Mind you thought that I have made like 20 dollars on it this month, but that took A LOT of effort and TIME. Too much for how much I made just to be honest. I looked into some other survey sites and honest to God They just all suck. I personally have inbox dollars downloaded to my smart phone, but thing is I have had it for a little over three months and am just barely over the 15$ mark. BUT in their defense, I have really only been reading the emails and claiming my two pennys, only because I NEVER qualify for the surveys, so I just stopped trying on them. I have tried swag bucks, and in just about a week of being on and off that site I have earned enough swag bucks for a three dollar gift card but I am trying to save up for the $50 gas card! Any good tips on SURVEY site?!?!

Same thing with a lot of survey sites. I use a few that udually pay at least a minimum of 50 cents which is certainly better than one cent. But still takes time to add up and sometime you jist dont qualify. I have a few of my favorites listed in the blog in my profile if you want to check those out. But yes....surveys can be super frustrating indeed. Best of luck to you!

@Angeleyes45. Yes, one thing I've learned about writing online: read the reviews!

Most MTurk surveys pay between 15 and 50 cents. You have to use judgment in how much time will be required then return the hit. There are some good ones. I got a 2 dollar bonus the other day.

See I GENUINELY enjoy doing the receipt fixes!! I love them because they ALWAYS pay bonuses! I can do one a day and make a little bit at a time, I exagerated the whole penny thing, but ANY task you do on Mturk still does not put you up the the USAs minimum wage :( That is what sucks.

@ramapo17 What I usually miss out is the swag up credits. They have an expiration date and a few times I have let them expired because I forgot to redeem it in time.

@ashley0323 So you have a swag code? It asked for one and I don't have any.

@ashley0323 That was nice. Half of the time I forget to do the surveys. I know I have enough for a gift card or two. I better check or I might lose them.

I became too frustrated with surveys. I hardly ever qualified, and sometimes you don't find out until you've already answered a zillion qualification questions. So like you, I find it too agitating. I tried to join Inbox Dollars just yesterday. I tried to join with my att.net address and a msg. said my addy wasn't valid. Then I tried with gmail, and it went through but I never got the verification. I did check spam and it didn't get there either. I don't know what is going on with that for me.

It is funny as I see some people on here saying they make money on this or that and I can never find anything. I am on swagbucks and I have received a gift card or two but it takes forever to earn them.

I do a UK-only one which is reputable and reliable but there was another one based here which would let you answer loads of questions for several minutes and tell you that you didn't qualify! (I know someone who got paid out by them without any problem). I am on another which seems to have stopped sending surveys just as I am a few cents off their minimum payout (I'll let you know if that changes, in which case I will regard them as reliable!) One of the worst things is that some survey companies don't seem to allow for changes in people's circumstances and that your honest answer may be different from last time.

I've made 85$ in 2 years of casual Mturk use. I also got 1 check from inbox dollars but they stopped the paid emails after that so it was at best a one off.
