Good afternoon.Back from a wonderful morning at the beach.
We were there at eight this morning.
Found a parking space.Unload and a nice spot at the beach.
I finally went in .This I have not done for years. The water was warm.
We had to get back as we have company tonight for dinner.
Been so busy here, getting breakfast dishes out of the way.
I made Jonny bread for dessert tonight.
We split them in half.Fill with fresh strawberry and all the whipped cream you want.
Grill chicken is the menu with potato salad and garden fresh string beans.
We have to rest.So I can dwell on the wonderful time at the beach.
Anything happening there?
The drive to the beach only an hour.Cool heh!!!!!

@amadeo In the north east of Germany is the Baltic Sea, in the north west the North Sea. Both have wide and long beaches. The North Sea has ebb and flood (difference about 3 m. That means you can't always swim there.
If you drive the same distance in the southern direction, you pass Austria and then come to Italy and the Mediterranean Sea. Good beaches there, too, and warmer water.
You wouldn't just drive to the beaches and return home, of course. This is where people spend their summer holidays/vacations.

Really? You're that close to Maine? I'd have not guessed it although I do know that it doesn't take as long to traverse the state in NH like it does other states in the midwest and further west.
When I lived in CT we were about half an hour from Rhode Island, but I never went there to check it out.

That is great that you can drive to the beach and enjoy the water there. We still have not been to the beach.

Congratulations on your wonderful day. It has been so long since I've been to a beach that I am very jealous. Sadly, I live thousands of miles from the nearest beach. Thanks for letting me live a day at the beach vicariously through you. I appreciate it. And now, after the food you mentioned I am rather hungry.

You're looking good at the beach! Your menu sounds very good. For me, just the usual, getting the move taken care of one day at a time and swimming in the morning. None tomorrow though, the Y is closed on Sunday.
