Happiness Has No Price!

Money isn’t everything. Money cannot buy happiness, Happiness has no price tag. I believe that money does not buy happiness. Happiness is a feeling we find within ourselves as human beings. I feel that money can make a person happy for that one moment but not for a lifetime. This is something really important and is something that everyone should learn and take note in. Money can only make you happy to an extent. It isn’t something everyone can receive everyday. Money can’t fix the problems in your life, like family problems, depression or low self-esteem. Plus, it can be a major source of stress. I don’t think that everyone should rely on money so much, it shouldn’t be someone’s number one source of state of well-being. Just dropping this off here for you all!

I agree with you in that money does not buy happiness. There was a time when I lives quite well but I was not happy. The relationship I was in was not good so I left it all behind to find my happiness. Now I don't have a whole lot and at times I scrape to get by but I am happy. I am happier then I have been in a very long time. Sure money might make life easier but happiness comes from within.

You are young and you have money - that makes a difference. There are many many out there - young people and senior citizens who can't be happy becaue they are starving or need meds or they are being foreclosed. Money might not literally make you happy but you can sure be unhappy/sad/ill w/o it.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX But the point is you were young when you were 'poor' old and poor is much worse...you can only move up - old folks are on the way down. You have to have money to be wise spending it. Some seniors are living on less than 700 a month - how do you pay rent, food, meds, etc. on that amount of money...that's poor and they sure aren't happy.

Thats true too but then again its all about how you go about it, I may have money now but before I was struggling I didnt let it get to me, instead I worked harder and became wiser on what I spent my money on

@AbbyGreenhill I agree and Im not rich myself, I make around 1,200 USD a month and I have 3 kids to support, my advantage is that I have a crane company and I dont pay rent since we bought our apartment, and I myself have hard months where every penny counts so I hear ya

I would note that having enough to be sure you have food on the table and such does make a difference though

This is very true. But for people who must live on barely enough to get by, everyday life can be quite stressful, I'm sure.

When I had a lot of money I was significantly more happy than I am now. I don't think dirt poor people are that happy. Having financial security goes a long way to making me happy...pretty much most of the way actually

@BACONSTRIPSXXX I'd agree, being super rich brings its own problems. Personally I'd like to be super rich but would not want any sort of fame associated with that level of money. I used to have quite a bit of money...I still have a little but not as much. Money can certainly make you happier but not necessarily buy happiness....BUT it could do for some, just depends how each individual defines happiness. You seem a family man with kids...your definition of happiness, I suspect, will be significantly different from mine.

I don't really have anything to say in addition to what others have already said. I just stopped by because that picture with your daughters is irresistible!

Having enough for food and shelter means you can savor the more important things, like friends and family. Your daughters seem quite happy--that's what it's all about!
