Kill 99.99% Germs.. Why not 100%?

there's some sort of explanation to that in our business management class.. as far as i remember, my teacher said, it's a marketing strategy,.. this will happen: a soap that kills 100% germs, many will buy that product but it will only happen once because the 100% is all gone.. a soap that kills 99.9% germs will leave the .01% to spread again and people will buy that soap over and over bcoz it did not kill all 100% ..

Maybe just to say they are not 100% effective and perfect. They're almost perfect

That's their legal escape clause. If you wash a cut with a soap that kills "100%" of germs and it still gets infected they have a lawsuit on their hands.
And to further pad their safety they never tell you which germs are in that 1%!

So that 1% can expand into many and kill 99% again haha
