So Dark In The Morning Now

Wow! I can't believe how dark and cold it is in the early mornings now compared to one month ago. This is a view from my kitchen window in the early morning. I find it very sad that we have come to that period of the year already. Even sadder is the fact that the stores around here already have Halloween displays. Really? Halloween products now when summer is still here for another month. There are still about 3 weeks before school starts again, surely the merchants could wait for their Halloween displays.

I've noticed the same. It's sad when it's getting darker. But sadly such is life sometimes.

So, winter is just around the corner?! Is it because of Donald Trump?

The school starts the next Monday here, but I am glad that I have not yet seen Halloween items, only back to school items for the moment.

@marlina Last year Halloween has been a complete flop. People are coming back to our traditional holidays, they are already tired of imported ones.

I know i see this too in stores it's a bit much but they do it every year like that. It's not dark for me in the mornings as I wake up about 8-830 with not having to be to work til 1130am. But i hear you soon the night is going to get dark early too and I'm not ready for that at all.

School starts here in two weeks at the lastest. I saw school things at Walmart but I didn't notice any Halloween displays yet,

Everything is far too commercialised. The retailers can't wait to get their goods on display. You're right about the dark mornings - it's getting darker a lot earlier in the evenings too.

I find that the merchants are ruining the spirit of holidays.

Yes the days are getting shorter. It is so depressing. The mornings and evenings are chilling off. I am not ready to let go of summer. :( The stores here already are starting to put up their Christmas displays. What's up with that? They had their Halloween stuff up about a month ago.

@marlina Yes I guess so. I walked down the aisle and I was like "What's up with this?". I still not ready to let summer go.

I've seen that some stores did start getting out the Halloween stuff out from a couple weeks ago. I love Halloween, but I hate that I might get sick of Halloween before October hits! Honestly it makes me not want to buy any of it. And before you know it the Christmas stuff will be out too!

Too much exposure to Halloween stuff too early surely makes people sick of the whole thing.

Our mornings are the same. Sometimes the kids forget to turn the air off and I wake up pretty chilly. There has been Halloween decorations out for quite awhile here. Soon we will see Thanksgiving decorations.

They say the shorter days are caused by the rotation of the earth around the sun. But I think it gets annoyed with summer and just falls over when we aren't expecting it.

I agree, its too early for the dark mornings and the Halloween stuff to be on the store shelves. Last night I noticed how early it gets dark at the end of the day-too soon!

@marlina As much as I like the Christmas season and the decorations, I like it at that time of the year, not months in advance. Retailers need to be mindful that most people feel this way.

Well, it's still summer here. Hot. But we're "patiently" waiting for fall lol. I like that better, just gets too blessed hot around here for summer. Halloween though, that's too much LOL.

I'm very glad that the temperatures are beginning to drop. I can really enjoy the weather now. I don't even mind the change in sun times. I suppose that means I'm keeping busy these days. As for the merchants, they figure the sooner they put things out on shelves, the sooner they will begin making money. I was always someone who used to buy Halloween things as early as I'd find them. Those were the days! lol

It seems that the world is now moving around displays in shops. Hardly out of Halloween and you will see all kinds of decors for Christmas.
