I am browsing with my Facebook wall earlier to just check what's up with my friends all over. I noticed some friends are now living in another country and most of them are already with different careers like me. Makes me think that change is really what's constant about life. It can happen in just a snap and I can't stop myself from missing them a lot.
Yeah, it seemed like it was just yesterday we are all together and happy talking to each other. Some stayed in the same place and same job. I guess that was me before. But I am happy with what I am doing now cause I have the freedom to do what I want to do and still earn a living. I have got what I wished for. Although sometimes, I can't help but feel the longing for my old friends and the time we used to be.

@cherriefic I know how you feel. My closest friends are all back in the US and I email my high school friend in Florida. We are hoping to meet again one day.

I know what you mean, too. The only constant is CHANGE. Sounds contradictory but it's true. It's hard to be missing friends.

@libster I guess that's our only consolation with technology.

Well, my kumpareng Heraclitus wrote - - - "Change is the only permanent thing in this world!" We can never stop change . . . that is why even our careers keep changing. . . I was once a clerk then insurance salesman then signboard artist . . . landscape artist . . then professional photographer. . . . moved to Canada and worked in boat manufacturing company . . then became a coordinator in an American office furniture manufacturing . . next worked in the casino . . maybe the next job for me is either sepulturero or mortician! Ay, patay!

Same here. I left for a year, then came back, and they all grew up without me.

When you see them again, they will seem as if they are not the same person we've been with before. Sigh..
