Job update

As I have written in some previous posts, I have had a few interviews over the last week. Well, I can now say that I have a job. I went to an interview today, and they told me at the end of it, that they would let me know by the end of today by email whether I got the job or not. At about 6:00 I got an email telling me that I did get it. The next few days will be training. If everything goes well tomorrow and Thursday, then I will be able to continue the training on Friday. So, although I may have the job, it seems I'm kind of in a trial period. I am happy that I got a job, but I am nervous as well.

It's for a fundraising company. They're a call centre. So it's basically just calling people who have already donated and seeing if they're willing to continue donating. And as it turns out, I did get it. I did a test call, and they thought I had potential, although I do have one or two things to work on. So, my training continues today.

I hope so. So far I'd like to think it's going well, but I'm still a little nervous. I'll see how today goes. Hopefully you get an email like this.
