It's reasonable to get angry with someone who upsets you or makes you feel bad. One time, I let my anger take over me and I regret it until now. When you're mad at someone, sometimes, you can't avoid saying hurtful things you don'r really mean. So, how do you stay calm in situations like this?

Once a Angry man went to a counselor for the solution of his anger. The wise man Advise him to hit iron nail to his room wall whenever he get angry. A week after he go again to see him. His room wall was full of iron nails. He ask him to remove the iron nail and see the scars on wall. In the same way we hurt others when getting angry.

I don't always stay calm, unfortunately. What I try to do is lower my voice and start over. I try to describe how I feel rather than accusing the person. Not that easy to do though.

Yep. It's not easy to just stay calm. Sometimes I think it's better to walk out to avoid worsening the situation.

Go to a room where you are all alone and drink a glass of ice cold water.

Think of it like this.. you will get rewarded by karma if you don't get angry... see if that works.

It is very difficult for me to remain calm but I have recently been controlling and moulding myself .I try to stay quiet and try to do something to distract myself or I try to walk away from that place .

To be honest, when I feel like wanting to slap somebody on the face, I just walk away. I'm afraid that I might utter words or do things to another person that I might regret later on.

I've learned that the best way is to take a deep breath and walk away from the situation. It depends. I think different techniques would work depending on the people and the situation.
