Is mozilla firefox secure as compare to Internet Explorer?

well u see i have been using internet explorer for quite some time and then changed to firefox and found tremendous change in the speed ..so i feel mozilla firefox is cool also its safe.no need to worry

i believe mozilla is more safer than IE. it does not install active-x components by itself and thus prevents a lot of spyware.

Switched to Firefox after virus issues. Can't say I've noticed any speed differences yet, however I vastly prefer the features of Firefox. The multiple tabs is a superb idea and the find text feature is great.

Hi, you can be sure there's no match between Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. They are two worlds apart, and IE is in the lower.

i use both Internet Explorer and mozilla firefox but i dont really no which one is the more secure, i normally use firefox to download stuff and Internet Explorer for normal use, i use my anti virus as my protection

Yes you can trust mozilla firefox. I m using both browsers. Internet explorer is good on some places but mozilla is fast and secure. Also downloading something in mozilla is much faster as compared to internet explorer

Hi wasim989, I like mozilla firefox because it is much secured when compared to internet explorer. It has an advanced security feature which makes it safe to use. I like also the add-ons, plug-ins, and extensions of mozilla, thus making it more useful. However, I also used IE because there are some websites that cannot be opened by mozilla, so I used it rarely. Have a nice day and God speed!

I think Mozilla is much faster and more secure when compared to the internet explore. I use it often for browsing the net. But now am really interested to try out the IExplorer 7. I heard it is really good.
